PREP/ONE RED CLASS WITH MISS TERRY
Welcome to 2024 in Prep/1 Red. I am very excited to be a part of the Coimadai Primary School community and looking forward to all the adventures in Prep/1 this year.
In our classroom we are-
School starts: 9:00am
Recess: 11:00—11.30am
Lunch: 1.30—2.30pm 2.15 DEAR
Home time: 3.30pm
School starts at 9:00. The classroom doors will be open at 8:45 for students to get organised for the day. During the morning we have a ‘munch n crunch’ break at 9:45 where students can have a piece of fruit or vegetables to munch on. When students enter the classroom in the morning, they can put their water bottle and diaries in the tubs and their ‘munch n crunch’ on their table.
We have a No Hat No Play policy at school. Please ensure your child has their hat during Term 1 and Term 4.
We use Class Dojo in the classroom. This is only as a classroom resource and parents are not expected to link and communicate via Class Dojo as all communication is expected through Compass.
At the end of the day, a teacher will accompany your child to the dismissal area near the shedatorium. A teacher will be there supervising until all children have been collected. Please notify the office if someone else is collecting your child.
Home readers
Students will be provided with new books each week to read at home. I encourage students to read a book multiple times to develop their reading fluency. Notes can be placed into students’ diaries as they will be checked daily.
