principal's message
Thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
Coimadai Primary School is situated in a unique rural setting surrounded by open space and farmland with a magnificent view of Lake Merrimu. We are an inviting, inclusive and vibrant school and are proud of the school’s reputation as a caring school community.
Our purpose is to provide, in a nurturing environment, a quality education that challenges all students to attain their highest potential academically, socially, emotionally, creatively and physically.
Coimadai Primary School promotes success and aims to develop students who are happy, optimistic and confident in their community.
We are committed to the development of 21st Century learners through an inquiry pedagogy. Our aim is to provide children with the skills to become life-long learners. Students have access to a wide range of specialist programs including, Art, PE, Music, Auslan, ICT and STEM.
All classrooms are equipped with up to date technology including interactive whiteboards, iPads and laptops.
Our dedicated staff engage children in stimulating and meaningful learning while promoting the social and emotional development of each child.
We value positive relationships with parents, students and staff, providing many opportunities for parents to become involved in the school community, including participation on school council, classroom helpers or on our very active Parents and Friends group. We work hard to develop strong and authentic relationships with our school community.
At Coimadai Primary School there is a consistent approach to student behaviour and management. Students are expected to take responsibility for their behaviour as well as being explicitly taught social and emotional learning through The Resilience Program and the BE You programs.
The team at Coimadai Primary School hope that you find the information contained on this site useful in understanding the opportunities we have to offer.
